Elland ADVISORY

How an engagement works

We examine how delivery works today, identify what is getting in the way and agree the changes that will make a difference. Each stage has a defined output, clear ownership and a decision about what happens next.

Understand

Review the evidence

We agree the assessment scope and speak to sponsors, delivery teams and control owners. We review frameworks, approval records, reporting and sample projects, then trace delays, duplication and control gaps to their causes. Where appropriate, a Governance Maturity Assessment provides a structured baseline.

The output Findings supported by evidence, a maturity profile where relevant, and a prioritised set of issues to address.

Design

Design the changes

We use the findings to define decision authority, responsibilities, controls, reporting and workflows. We test it with the people who will use it and agree the implementation priorities, dependencies and measures of success. Scope and fees are agreed before each phase begins.

The output An agreed design and implementation roadmap, with deliverables, owners and decision points.

Implement

Implement and test

We turn the agreed design into working frameworks, templates, guidance and reporting arrangements. We engage senior stakeholders, regional teams and delivery partners to agree responsibilities and resolve concerns. We support pilots, brief teams and resolve practical issues before wider rollout. Progress reviews focus on adoption and the decisions needed to keep implementation moving.

The output Tested processes and tools, agreed responsibilities and a controlled rollout into everyday delivery.

Handover and review

We agree who owns each process and control, hand over guidance and review early evidence of use. We check whether decisions are clearer, effort has reduced and controls are being applied. Remaining actions and review dates are recorded so improvement continues after the engagement.

The output A documented handover, named process owners and agreed measures for reviewing the improvement.
